preowned 2016 honda civic coupe for sale in courtenay comox valley duncan bcResearching the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe Touring and wondering if this preowned car is right for you? If you’re anything like reviewer Steve Dadge, you’ll quickly see that this two-door is a great choice, no matter your station in life.

In his interview with Driving.ca, Dadge explains the 2016 Civic Coupe Touring is well-suited to anyone who enjoys a sporty drive. He adds: “It’s a fun car that doesn’t preclude any age – you could be young or old, single or a family. It’s an excellent car for daily use, as well as touring.”

At Island Honda in Courtenay, we have to agree with this review. The Civic Coupe’s 174-hp 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine is very peppy and down-right fun-to-drive whether scooting through city traffic or cruising on the highway at a good clip. The interior is also very spacious and accommodating, even to taller folks with 1,074 mm of legroom in the front and 912 mm in the rear. Plus, with 337 litres of cargo space, you won’t miss out on utility by opting for this stylish two-door.

2016 honda civic best price comox valley bcBased on a review by Mathieu St-Pierre, the 2016 Honda Civic Touring is full of soul and character. A lot of the sedan’s personality comes from its under-the-hood dynamics with the rest showing itself in the modern, well-specked interior. If you are in the market for a preowned four-door offering great performance and handling, this one is for you.

The 2016 Civic runs on a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder that generates 174 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. According to St-Pierre, despite its smallish displacement, this engine is impressive and highly entertaining. Part of its success comes from the torque, which is on tap from 1,800 rpm and stays that way until the engine reaches 5,500 rpm. Paired to a continuously variable transmission, the Civic delivers great acceleration and power, while the handling is supported by a dual-pinion variable electric power steering system and a multi-link independent rear suspension.

The Touring also received high marks from St-Pierre for its modern amenities and user-friendly tech. A 10-speaker audio system offers crisp, clear sound, plus there is an integrated navigation system with voice controls. The leather seating is adequately bolstered and ensures your comfort with each mile. Standard safety features include adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-departure intervention and forward-collision alert with automatic emergency braking.
